More about the Books
For the past 5 years, I have been building a collection of unique and colourful short stories that aim to improve your level of English.
My writing is inspired by Africa’s spirited energy and emotional vibrancy.
Most of the stories are about matters of the heart—for the spirit is what Africa is all about. It is the essence and trademark of this astonishing continent without which Africans would not thrive.
The Spirit
The spirit is what defines and keeps us alive, even though outward appearances prove otherwise.
The spirit is that hidden force that puts smiles on children’s faces in the slums and makes a toiling woman sing joyously, even in the face of intense adversity.
The African spirit and the unflinching hope that resides within it is what has kept me going for the past five years.
I hope that you like reading these stories as much as I loved writing them.
Kind regards,
Thandi Ngwira Gatignol, Author, Learn English With Africa.
