Let’s Describe Animals in the Jungle!

In today’s lesson, you’re going to learn how to describe animals in the jungle in a detailed way.
Last week, we talked about animals in the savannah. You can actually check what we did here.

If you have seen some of the animals in real life, what did you think about them?

Describe Animals in the Jungle: Examples
- I have never seen a jaguar in real life but I’ve seen the car version of course!
- Giant pandas make me think of the film ‘Kung Fu Panda‘.
- I think that lemurs are funny. I’d love to see one in real life.
- My brother loves chameleons because they can change colours very quickly. I also find them fascinating.
- People think that sloths are lazy because they move slowly all the time.
- I am afraid of snakes and I wouldn’t want to meet a boa constrictor or an anaconda in the jungle.
- Tigers are beautiful but we should be scared of them all the same.
We can also use the above Adjectives to describe animals in the jungle.
Let’s look at a few examples:
- I really love giant pandas. I think that they are very cute.
- Tigers are carnivorous animals. They only feed on other animals.
- Chameleons are smart animals. They can change colours according to their environment.
- Other jungle animals must very afraid of the boa constrictor. it is a very powerful predator.
- Jungle animals such as jaguars are intimidating.
- I think that chimpanzees are naturally good-natured.
- Sloths are thought to be very lazy considering their behaviour.
- The okapi looks like a zebra because it is striped.
- Black panthers are incredible because they actually refer to wild cats with black fur such as leopards or jaguars.
Your Turn: Make at least 5 sentences to describe animals in the jungle using the Adjectives in the picture above.
